Senior Regulation Officer
Full-time PermanentDetails: Waste Regulation is seeking a curious mind to join a small team as a Senior Regulations Officer. You will work collaboratively in the Compliance and Assessment team, primarily focused on the regulation of licensed waste facilities or responding to reports of waste activities.
You will bring your skills in stakeholder engagement, brief and report writing, analysis of complex information, and your ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. These skills, together with a positive attitude and a commitment to continual learning and development, will see you well placed to excel in this role.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Driver's licence Class C is essential. Relevant industry competencies (white card, asbestos and silica awareness courses, first aid) are desirable. If not held, the successful applicant will be required to obtain these as part of their role.The successful applicant must meet suitability requirements (experience, qualifications, and personal character) to be appointed as an Authorised Person under the Act. If the successful applicant does not hold an appropriate qualification, training opportunities will be provided.Note: There is one full-time permanent position currently available (P44738). The panel may establish a merit list or merit pool to fill identical vacancies in the next 12 months.
This role requires office-based and offsite work; the designated office is in Dickson, ACT, under activity-based working.
