Delivers evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsible for the clinical management of patients with alcohol and other drug disorders, as well as supporting their families and carers under the supervision of the Consultant medical staff.
Supports Consultants in the provision of training, supervision and education for Resident Medical Officers and Interns. Fulfils educational requirements of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (RACP) Advanced Training Curriculum to attain Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine.
