The organisation is a bulk billing community-controlled health service, managed by a Board of Directors who oversee and manage the strategic directions of the service.
Bidgerdii provides comprehensive primary health and well-being services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in the Rockhampton and surrounding regions.
Bidgerdii collaborates with health and well-being partner agencies to enable integrated continuity of care for the community and continue to work to contribute to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health policy and program reform in Queensland.

Bidgerdii Community Health Service is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse (Team Leader) to head our clinical team in preventative care, chronic disease management, and hands-on care. This isn't just a nursing job—it's a chance to connect with your community, manage care plans, and deliver health education that changes lives.
You'll oversee Rheumatic Heart Disease care, Sexual Health and all preventative health screenings, and handle ECGs, wound care, and pathology services in a positive, supportive environment.
