Job Description *This project is in the proposal stage, we're awaiting to be awarded the contract* This position will support Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR) Government Solutions in their joint department of defense program in Alice Springs, Australia.
The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below:
International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Senior Registered Nurse dedicated to providing top-quality care and support for patients.
The candidate will possess a solid clinical background and a commitment to excellence who excels at assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and coordinating care in a dynamic high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities: Directs the administrative needs of the clinics. Liaises with Government Contract Officer Technical Representative (COTR) in the administration of the medical clinics. Apply knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques to patient care. Utilize experience and compassion with advanced clinical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Make accurate quick, informed decisions in fast-paced environments, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Possess a deep understanding of healthcare protocols, patient assessment, and care planning. Skilfully manage complex cases. Precept and mentor junior staff with knowledge of training and teaching methods. Demonstrates sufficient interpersonal skills to develop a rapport with patients and co-workers. Utilizes practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and guidelines; skill in collecting a variety of samples. Performs professional routine, urgent, and emergency care. Triages and provides medical advice to patients within the scope of practice. Checks blood pressures and weights, performs electrocardiograms (EKGs), draws blood, and collects urine samples. Receives, dispatches, directs, and files relevant mail and laboratory and x-ray reports. Maintains the clinics in a manner suitable for dispensing care. Manages the sterilization equipment and the "clean" and "dirty" utility rooms. Other duties as required. Qualifications Required Skills and Knowledge: Proficient leadership and clinical skills, guiding teams and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Expertise in clinical practice and a collaborative spirit to a team that values patient-centered care. Strong communication skills and empathetic demeanor. Required Work Experience: Must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience working as a registered/licensed nurse. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing, supervising, and evaluating nursing staff. Required Qualifications: Must possess a medical license to practice nursing in Australia. Must have a bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution. Current CPR certification. Physical Demands: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs. Other Special Qualifications: Must be a US, UK or Australian citizen. Must be able to relocate to Alice Springs, Australia for the duration of the contract. A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation.

Compensation: Min: 75,000 Max: 100,000
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
