The Senior Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a range of activities associated with the centralised youth detention recruitment function including provision of high-level administrative support and data management, with a particular emphasis on bulk recruitment processes and systems.
As the Senior Recruitment Coordinator, you will supervise the Recruitment Coordinator and have the ability to work well in a team in a fast paced and high demand work environment while delivering high quality outcomes.
The Senior Advisor's key responsibilities are: • Deliver contemporary culturally appropriate advice and consulting services to executives, and applicants relating to recruitment and selection for roles within the youth detention stream of the Department.
•The Senior Recruitment Coordinator's key responsibilities are:
• Manage recruitment administration functions in line with recruitment and selection policy, agreed processes, and as required by panel Chairs, to ensure high quality service delivery.
• Develop and maintain a program of work that sits across numerous recruitment activities with a view to ensuring timeframes are met and resources are allocated accordingly.
• Supervise the Recruitment Coordinator and provide training, assistance, support and mentoring as required.
• Ensure high quality candidate care is delivered throughout all recruitment processes.
• Undertake analytics and provide advice on emerging trends and issues. This will include ensuring the availability of accurate data and relevant information for the Youth Detention Recruitment Team and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate and assist with public information and promotional activities such as careers fairs and targeted stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Work with recruitment partners to coordinate reference checks, psychometric and medical and functional assessments etc.
• Build and maintain professional stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain sound and current knowledge of human resource management practices to ensure contemporary human resource solutions are delivered to clients.
• Participate as part of a cohesive high performing team in which all members' contributions are valued and encouraged.
This role provides support services to children and young people and therefore will require a valid Blue Card with the organisation.
