Experience in mining shutdowns and maintenance, transport and logistics, civil and open pit machine operators, cranes and rigging, and white-collar technical roles.
Strong knowledge of labour hire strategies, business functions, and fostering relationships with clients to deliver effectively.
The successful candidate will have a strong business development background with established relationships in the mining and construction industries.
The successful candidate will possess a solid recruitment background, with experience in sourcing and attracting excellent candidates, conducting interviews, and assessing applicants.
They will collaborate with department managers to proactively identify future hiring needs and attract candidates through various sources such as social media and employee referrals.
Responsibilities include: Designing and implementing the overall recruiting strategyBuilding and sustaining strong relationships with stakeholders/clients, including regular catch-ups and understanding continuous improvements of supplyExhibiting leadership qualities to influence and get the best out of the teamDeveloping and updating job descriptions and specificationsSourcing and recruiting candidates through various channelsScreening resumes and conducting interviewsAssessing applicants' relevant skills and aptitudesOnboarding new employeesMonitoring HR best practices and providing analytical reportsBuilding relationships with candidates during the selection processPromoting the company as a great place to workRequirements: Proven experience as a RecruiterAbility to understand and complete onboarding of new clients, including schedule of rates, agreement terms, and industry awareness of riskKnowledge of mining operations and workflow for delivering high volumes of personnel to projects and mine sites is extremely valuableAbility to conduct various types of interviewsHands-on experience with selection processes and recruiting softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong decision-making skillsYour application will include the following questions:
