About the Role You'll provide assistance with record management requirements including training and support. Records Management are responsible for supporting the agency to meet its legislative requirements for record keeping.
As a Senior Records Management Officer, you'll support and coordinate the delivery of helpdesk functions, and provide specialist procedural, administrative and operational support for record management practices.
Duties Create, maintain or oversee records creation by authorised staff in line with records management processes and security requirements Contribute to the management of help desk functions including strategic advice regarding file structures, personnel transfers, reporting and complex record management enquires Provide specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders Anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations The successful candidate will Think critically and analytically to solve complex problems Communicate in a simple, helpful way, appropriate for the audience Discuss and negotiate issues with credibility, transparency and respect Support and encourage innovation and continuous improvement What's on offer The successful candidate will be offered an APS6 hourly rate contract. Through to 31st December 2024, with an option to extend up to a further 6months. This position is based in Greenway, ACT.
