In collaboration with the Queensland State Government, Emanate Technology is looking for a Senior Records Management Officer to support various sites across Queensland in managing physical records with precision and compliance.
In this role, you'll apply your records management expertise directly on-site, engaging with administrative staff to classify, archive, and ensure records meet critical legislative requirements.

What you'll be doing
Scoping state-wide programs to manage school records long-term Advising staff on appraising, archiving, and defensible record destruction Identifying records for transfer to Queensland State Archives Training staff on records management practices and compliance Preparing reports and briefing notes for management Ensuring compliance with legislation and policy standards Travelling across Queensland to support on-site school records assessments What you need to bring
Experience appraising records in a government or similar environment Knowledge of public sector records management standards Strong communication skills with diverse school teams Mentoring and training experience in records practices Professional integrity in community-facing roles Bonus points for...
Experience with archival transfers to state/national archives Project coordination in records management contexts Knowledge of retention schedules and disposal processes Understanding of change management in public sector settings Important to know
