Full-time vacancy up to 12 months. We have an exciting new Senior Records Advisor role available inour Information Services Branch. The Senior Records Advisor isaccountable to the Manager, Records Management Unit and plays a keyrole in in the development and implementation of future directionsand strategies for corporate records management across SAPOL.
The Senior Records Advisor supports the Manager, RecordsManagement Unit in the strategic planning of records andinformation management, supporting complex business objectives andundertaking a multitude of projects. The role also provides highlevel advice and corporate support services to SAPOL employees andidentifies innovative opportunities for business improvement acrossthe Agency.

About you Detailed knowledge and understanding of records managementpractices and their application in the Public Sector, whichincludes the State Records Act 1997. Demonstrated experience in records management, includingthe management of permanent and temporary records, theapplication of disposal schedules and archival practices. Demonstrated experience in developing Records Managementpolicies, standards and guidelines that are consistent withlegislative and government requirements. Experience in configuration and administration of anElectronic Document Records Management System. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with provensuccessful outcomes. Experience in monitoring and ensuring compliance withpolicies and standards in relation to records management. Demonstrated experience using initiative to takeresponsibility for significant projects and work with minimalsupervision. Experience in training and mentoring of staff. The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL'siEngage program. Salary ASO6 - $97,022 - $102,626 per annum.
