Flight Centre Travel Group are currently hiring for a Senior React Native Engineer with 5+ years experience to join their Digital Platforms team within the Product Management & Engineering pillar!
The Global Leisure Product Management & Engineering division is responsible for setting the vision and building the product strategy for Leisure technology products. Our multi-disciplined teams - including Product Management, Engineering, Design, Data & AI and Portfolio Management - work together to create exceptional experiences for every customer by connecting technology within our ecosystem.

Day to day: Design, develop, test and release iOS & Android applications primarily using React Native.Craft high quality, secure, testable, maintainable code that is not over engineered.Own the quality of what we build, through testing, test automation and observability to ensure operational reliability and performance.Analyse business requirements and problem solve to create the right solutions for our customers.Participate in code reviews with other engineers to provide feedback to ensure we maintain quality, standards, meets requirements and compliance.Maintain and improve our documentation across code bases, architectures and our knowledge bases.Collaborate in our cross-functional Product Management and Engineering teams to plan and deliver high quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.Be an impactful contributor to the team, to plan, design and build elegant solutions.Take initiative and always look for ways in improving the quality of our solutions, code bases, technical debt, standards, processes and best practices.You'll be perfect for the role if you have: At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.Proven experience building, testing and releasing mobile apps.Strong experience in software testing from unit tests and UI tests.Experience in building apps for online & offline, utilising APIs, real-time push notifications and consuming native APIs.Experience working with Analytics/Marketing tools.Experience with DevOps tooling & practices valuing a DevOps culture.Experience working with Google Firebase, Analytics, SFMC.End to end testing using Appium & Webdriver.io.Maintain compliance posture across systems.Experience with observability tools, such as New Relic, and feature flagging tools such as Launch Darkly.Passionate about/experienced with open source and developer tools.Understanding or experience in Swift and Java/Kotlin framework.Why Flight Centre?
