Senior Quality Officer • APS 6 • Ongoing • $95,515 - $104,362 • Flexible working arrangements • Full-time position As part of the quality team, the Senior Quality Officer supervises the team responsible for completing inwards goods inspections. They liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and undertake investigations related to product quality including, researching and gathering data, analysing and presenting results, and identifying and implementing improvements or corrective actions.
The Senior Quality Officer also develops and reviews quality related documents including procedures, work instructions, reports and risk assessments, and supports the Quality Systems Manager and MSQ Branch as required.
The duties of this position include:
Supervising the team responsible for completing inwards goods inspections, including monitoring work load, providing performance feedback and supporting skill development. Undertaking investigations related to product quality, including researching and gathering data, analysing and presenting results, and identifying and implementing improvements or corrective actions. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on product quality and supplier performance, including non-conformance. Developing or reviewing quality related documents, including procedures, work instructions, reports and risk assessments, ensuring they adhere with established Mint processes, best practice and Integrated Management System requirements. Supporting the Quality Systems Manager and MSQ branch as required, including supporting procurement and supplier management. Security clearance
This position requires a Baseline security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
