The Platform and Engineering Technology team is responsible for driving and delivering the technology roadmap for wider Group.
We support the digitisation and optimisation of operational processes across the bank supporting the COO and our product business in simplifying and enhancing the customer experience. Our value comes from abstracting away the complexity and reducing the cognitive load from our front-line teams so they can better serve our customers.
This role will be joining the D&E Crew part or wider Platforms and Engineering - Quality Engineering and Testing chapter providing effective processes and tools that enable delivery of high-quality solutions to our internal and external customers. Our services include both Prevention and Control (defect detection) aspects of the software development lifecycle.
We're interested in hearing from people who: Design, implement and maintain Performance test assets to ensure desired level of quality and test coverage. Contribute to the estimates on the Performance test/ engineering efforts for various features and new initiatives as part of definition of done. Collaborate closely within your scrum team to drive testability in solution design and promote best test engineering practices in the development process. Establish traceability and coverage through effective mapping of test cases & scripts to acceptance criteria as defined in user story. Advise and apply best test engineering practice and supporting tools and technologies to specific features and projects. Tech skills Sound technical understanding of Performance Engineers, testing and analytics. Sound technical experience in working with performance testing tools such as Jmeter, Blazemeter, Microfocus LoadRunner, Performance Centre. Demonstrable working experience in C# and/or Java, test automation frameworks, Oracle, SQL Server, AppDynamics, Splunk, Performance Centre, AWS, Azure. Demonstrable working experience in code repository & version control tools such as Github Action or Git Proficient in using CI toolset such as TeamCity. Experience working with agile delivery toolset such as JIRA & Confluence, Commercial expertise using in Selenium and/or Appium. Experience in or exposure to cloud technologies and experience building cloud-based applications. Experience in performance data analytics using Splunk. Working with us:
