The roleWe're looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team to accelerate and improve the delivery and quality of the software we build.
In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of automated testing, work closely with the engineering team to define the testing strategy and process, and keep automated testing in line with existing functional aspects of the engineering process.
You will design, create, execute and maintain automated testing scripts.
You will also be responsible for coaching and training other QA Engineers on functional standards, best practices, strategy and planning.
You will be part of a team and work across major aspects of the ServiceM8 software and platform, and report to ServiceM8's CTO.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role you will:
Design, create, execute and maintain automated testing strategies, automating test cases and developing test tools for our mobile and web platforms.Use continuous integration environments/tools and CI best practices to enhance test coverage.Conduct static and dynamic application security testing (SAST and DAST).Manage the defect life cycle.Analyze and decompose complicated software systems and design strategies to test these systems.Conduct application performance and security testing.Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and tools.Conduct load and performance testing to identify system bottlenecks.Stay up to date with relevant new and emerging technologies, and identify and promote opportunities to make use of these technologies.Work with product managers to craft user story acceptance criteria.Coach and train other QA Engineers on functional standards, best practices, strategy and planning.Minimum RequirementsTo be the right fit for this role, you'll need to have:
Experience with open source automated testing frameworks like Selenium.Experience with iOS Testing frameworks (XCTest, XCUI).Experience with back-end testing.Basic knowledge of Objective-C/Swift.A shared belief in our values.Preferred QualificationsIt would be awesome if you also have:
Basic knowledge of PHP.Experience with AWS.Experience working with Docker containers.Experience with Continuous Integration systems (e.g.
