About the Company: Our client, a well-known manufacturer of specialty chemicals based on the North Shore, is currently searching for a Senior QC Chemist to work on a permanent basis.
About the role: Support the General Manager in the management of the QC team and laboratory testing capability, to ensure delivery of their product to customers through QC of manufactured product.
Checking of incoming raw material to meet QC requirements.
Run external testing services for both internal & external customers efficiently and on-time.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to: Conducting QC testing on grease/oils/lubricants and and analysis of results Support a new LIMS implementation Support the R&D and Laboratory Teams with manufacturing related tasks Batch corrections where required Lead investigations/troubleshooting Participate in internal and external audits Ensure record keeping for QC is maintained to the required standard Requirements for this role: Bachelor of Science, majoring in Chemistry or related discipline Experience required in a similar role - ICP, XRF, IR Ability to interpret and deliver results Task orientated, with excellent time management skills High attention to detail Good communication skills to liaise with different departments within the company Benefits/Culture: This is a full-time permanent position.
The role is based on the north shore/northern beaches with parking on site.
