ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the following:
Designing and developing test scripts that are reusable throughout the project.Building new test frameworks and/or extending existing frameworks and configuring tools to accommodate both functional and load testing.Ensuring that no bug is discovered after release.Challenging all user scenarios and testing cases to investigate all possibilities of failure.Scripting everything and working closely with Business Analysts and Tech Leads in order to make sure that all aspects of testing are covered.Demonstrating a track record in terms of pushing the limits of automation, covering end-to-end testing by leveraging multiple components.Your key activities will include the following:
Define, propose and refine test strategies:
Conduct technology watch of available tools.
Propose test strategies appropriate to the situation.
Prepare corresponding flow charts and diagrams.Define, propose and refine test framework:
Set-up testing tools and pipeline.
Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements together with Business Analyst and Tech Lead in order to propose and implement adequate testing frameworks.
Document all testing processes.Implement test cases:
Monitor functional and non-functional requirements in order to implement automated test cases.
Continuously and rigorously implement all test cases, evaluate results, and prepare corresponding test data and reports.
Occasionally define and perform manual testing, when appropriate.Requirements5+ years experience as a lead QA Automation Engineer with experience in:
Testing strategies and frameworks.Test script development.Experience with:
Functional and black-box testing.Regression testing.System integration testing.Load testing.Manual testing.Java coding skills and experience.
Experience with applications written in Javascript, React.js, Node.js.
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and/or Azure.
Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Gitlab CI, Jenkins).
Knowledge of, and experience with:
Testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, Junit, Eclipse).Security scanning tools (Veracode, Fortify, Checkmark).Chaos engineering (chaos monkeys, gremlins).Performance testing (SpeedTest, Jmeter).You should have experience working in an agile software development environment.
Potential skillsProfessional certification in QA Engineering.
Some knowledge of blockchain is a plus, a willingness to learn is welcomed.
Other skillsExperience working on large Enterprise application development projects.Experience with the agile development process.Enjoys teamwork, with strong communication and facilitation skills.Self-sufficient, self-starter and a fast learner.Can take initiative and prioritize own work.Curious and flexible attitude.Remuneration and benefitsBetter than market rate with equity plan.
