Australian Citizens with current Baseline Clearance Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Developer (Python) ,for our esteemed Large Federal Government Client.
This is a long term contract with 12 months initial term and 2x12 months option to extend, based on funding and approval.
About the role: Senior Developers with significant experience with Python and a solid background in software engineering are required for a program working on cyber hygiene.
You will work with the existing software engineering team to build new capability and enhance the maintainability of the existing code base.
Main duties will be: Ensuring that technical functionality is delivered on-time and to specifications.
Writing code to deliver the technical functionality.
Ensuring that code is developing using best practice principles.
Developing software engineering technical artefacts.
Essential Criteria: Demonstrated understanding of best practice software engineering practices.
Experience in leading a team of developers.
Developing using the Python programming language Experience implementing/maintaining CI/CD solutions.
Experience in designing and developing distributed systems.
Experience with Linux containers – Desirable.
Experience with cloud IaaS environments (preferably AWS) – Desirable.
