At MINPROVISE our vision is to provide innovative solutions in partnership with our clients.We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Purchasing Officer to join our team, playing a key role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This role requires a motivated individual with a commitment to continuous improvement, strong relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of strategic purchasing. Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Procurement: Ensure all purchases are made at the right time and at the right priceBring new suppliers, products and ideas to optimise procurement processesRelationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external suppliersIndustry Knowledge:Leverage industry knowledge for better product and relationship management.Be open-minded and patient to understand and integrate into our systemSystem Utilisation:Utilise the ERP system (Visage) effectively, leveraging its historical data on products and suppliersMaintain accurate supplier information in the system for easy access by the team.Detail Orientation:Ensure all product codes and requisitions are accurately recorded and trackedInvestigate and resolve any discrepancies in procurement recordsContinuous ImprovementContinuously seek ways to improve procurement processKeep updated with industry trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas into the procurement strategySkills & Qualifications:Basic proficiency in Excel.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
