We are hiring for a Senior Propulsion Engineer (Bi Prop) to support the Head of Propulsion Engineering to ensure the smooth running of the department and in the design, test, and production of a high-performance liquid bi prop rocket engines for Orbital launch program. You will document and communicate across teams to ensure duties are performed in an efficient and timely manner whilst adhering to Gilmour Space policies and procedures.

Lead the design and manufacture of liquid rocketSupport the design, build and commission of a new test facility for testing rocketDefine testing requirements to qualify liquid rocketPerform trade studies on bi-propellant rocket engines with electric motor and turbine cycles on the upper stages of the orbital rocket.Support trouble shooting of hardware andProvide senior influence and support of the development, work allocation of the supporting junior team in liaison with head of propulsion.Create document packages for design reviews and contribute as required to testLiaise with the Assembly Integration and Test department for production activities and identify supporting mechanical ground support equipment and productionOverseas travel to meet external consultants when requiredOther duties as requested by managementMandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Bachelors (BS) degree in an Engineering disciplineNV1 Security Clearance eligible preferredDesired Qualifications, Skills and Experience: We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don't let that deter you.
