Senior Property Project Coordinator

This role will be located at 180 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne CBD The Senior Property Project Officer is responsible for providing a high level of project support, services and advice for all land matters relating to the West Gate Tunnel Project (WGTP).

Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: Assisting and supporting the Land and Property team on issues relating to the delivery of the project, including assisting with the acquisition/divestment of land, land registration, establishment of the Project Lease, and road declaration. Drafting briefs, memos and correspondence including instructions to, and liaising with, legal providers, Land Registry Services, Land Use Victoria, Surveyor General Victoria's Office, and managing the timely workflow of briefs, correspondence and reporting requirements across the project team. Leading meetings with internal and external stakeholders and correspond with key agencies on land related matters associated with project activities, including project partners, the Department of Transport and Planning, Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, VicTrack, Valuer-General Victoria, Victorian Government Land Monitor and local Councils. The successful candidate requires land and property knowledge, project management and stakeholder engagement skills as well as strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish relationships and work effectively with people at all organisational levels.
