Our Client is a CBD-based property manager who is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their team.
This role encompasses parts of financial accounting and management accounting in a medium business working in a team of 4.
This role is 5 days a week in the office.
The Role:The Senior Property Accountant is responsible for leading the management of the properties and managing all actuals and forecast cashflow reporting and associated tasks that include but are not limited to: annual budget process, bank account and general ledger reconciliations and updating key forecast items.
It's an end-to-end role and it's expected that your business savvy and ability to work with the team to create better outcomes will shine through.
We're not looking for a road block, but someone able to hold staff to account when needed, while also thinking creatively to find better solutions to problems.
Responsibilities include ongoing cashflow reviews and recommendations to be made to key stakeholders and senior management.
Scenario forecast cashflow analysis is required on a syndicate, case by case basis, at the request of key stakeholders as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:Monthly Management reports and forecastsReview and assess working capitalObtain forecast information inputs to create accurate forecastsReview budgets and budget variancesManage the cash at bank and provide recommendations for cash management.Accounts payable and receivableManage the loan and finance positions and report to Head of FinanceQuarterly BAS lodgementsThe Successful Candidate:This role is full-time in the office based in the CBD.Minimum of 7 years experience in accountingDeep experience working with property or investmentsDegree in AccountingFast learner and adaptableTeam player and good cultural fit.
