We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Projects Engineer to join our talented and dynamic underground mining team at our Kalgoorlie Operations.
This opportunity is offered as residential in the Goldfields, working a 5:2/4:3 - 10-hour roster reporting to the Underground Manager and offers the opportunity for exposure to a wide variety of challenging and rewarding mining projects for the Kanowna Belle and South Kalgoorlie gold mines.
Key Accountabilities: Leading multidisciplinary projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and compliance with safety and quality standards through all project stages from conception to implantation and handover.Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for seamless integration of the project assets into mining operations.Providing project management during installation and commissioning, conducting site inspections, and resolving issues.Providing contractor management to business partners facilitating project works.Monitoring and ensuring compliance to applicable codes, safety regulations, performance standards, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety in all project works.Preparing and managing project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and detailed technical documentation.Communicating effectively with stakeholders through regular updates, meetings, reports, and presentations.Requirements Tertiary qualification in Mining EngineeringMinimum of 5 years UG hard rock mining experienceStrong experience managing contractorsEffective leadership skills and experience leading a diverse team.Ability to hold themselves and others accountable to their roles and responsibilities.Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Drivers LicencePreferred Advanced Microsoft Office skillsExperience using Deswik CADExperience working in a mining environment with multiple contractorsExperience using Power BIDiscover the perks of working at Northern Star… Company subsidised GU Health Insurance.Gold Price Variable bonus incentive.Employee Share Plan programs.Gold standard parental leave policy.GoldSTARR rewards program - cash savings for everyday expenses.Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) that includes free, confidential counselling and wellbeing services.Salary continuance (income protection) insurance from commencement.Salary sacrificing benefits, including novated leasing and remote area living benefit options.Eligibility:
