Our Opportunity Work Location: Perth office Roster: Mon to Fri Fortescue are presently looking for a highly experienced Project Planner to join the Project Services team.
Key Responsibilities Develop master and detailed project schedule(s) to ensure timely delivery of works and meeting of project(s) Cost / resource loading of schedules Perform "What-if" scenarios as required, critical path and milestone analysis.
Develop documents to support schedule such as basis of schedules.
Maintain the integrity of the project schedule ensuring logic is sound.
Perform "schedule health check" to meet the highest planning standards.
Implement Earned Value Management, evaluate CPI & SPI and report on trends.
Analysing contractor project schedules / progress and integration of contractor schedules into the master program.
Early diagnosis / reporting of project trends, evaluation of productivity and benchmarking Accurate and timely issuing of both the weekly and month end reports.
Active participation in schedule workshops, risk reviews and change management processes.
Support quarterly capital planning process.
Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualification in Engineering or international accreditation in project controls would be highly desirable Minimum of 10 years' experience as a project planner (essential) Client-Side experience to have exposure to full project life cycle, from concept through to execution, and the associated gate movements.
Broad understanding of facilities engineering and Project Control issues.
Strong communication skills, ability to interface with project and corporate stakeholders.
Advanced skills Primavera P6, MS Office Suite, Business Intelligence tools like Power BI Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision, and within a team.
Demonstrate awareness and compliance with safe workplace practices and duty of care.
