Management (Information & Communication Technology) Join a large Federal Government Department as Senior Project Officer!
Your new company This large scale, core Federal Agency based in South Canberra plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian public by administering and regulating major services across the country.
Your new role A key division within the Department currently requires Senior Project Officers to work as part of their Digital Authentication team on a critical digital transformation initiative. Day to day you'll be:
Embrace and model an agile mindset to support delivery of program insights and assist change. Assist with the managing and coordination of straightforward projects. Establish clear work plans and timeframes for self and others. Identify and assist with the management of project risks, issues and benefits. Contribute to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose. Contribute and support the development and implementation of improvements and best practice in processes and procedures. Develop and support stakeholder relationships to deliver projects. Represent the project team in a range of forums including stakeholder meetings. Assist with coordinating change management activities with other teams, including tracking and identifying project crossovers and risks. Synthesise large volumes of information from varying sources and platforms to provide an agency-wide view of change activities. Prepare draft written material including reports, executive briefs and corporate documentation in a variety of formats to provide visibility, strategic analysis, insights and advice to support change. Prioritise competing tasks and work collaboratively to deliver quality project outcomes. What you'll need to succeed Significant demonstrated experience in an ICT project support role within a Federal Government environment. The ability to obtain a Baseline clearance. The ability to work out of the Department's South Canberra Office, primarily onsite. Highly Desirable:
Familiar with online authentication and knowledge of the Australian Government Digital Identity System (AGDIS). Ability to develop and execute test cases at all levels of testing on multiple platforms. What you'll get in return A competitive hourly contracting rate.
