Senior Project Officer Commissioning and Planning Location – Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Southern NSW Districts Employment type – Temporary full-time up to 30 June 2026 Grade – Clerk Grade 9/10 Salary – $120,859 pa - $133,183 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role The Senior Project Officer manages and coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of complex projects to achieve project outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.
What you'll do The Senior Project Officer as part of Illawarra Shoalhaven and Southern District Commissioning and Planning team, is a small and passionate group that collaborates with its partners so that vulnerable members of our community are empowered to live fulfilling lives and achieve their potential.
The role is designed to work across the District, with internal and external stakeholders, to support outcomes for people experiencing homelessness. It will provide leadership on homelessness initiatives, including the Premier's priority to reduce street homelessness by 50% by 2025. The position will not have any direct reports. The position will report to the Manager, Commissioning and Planning. The position will need to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, as well as other government agencies and non-government partners.
