Location - Strawberry Hills, with access to hybrid arrangements Employment type - Temporary Full Time up to June 2026 Salary - $120,859 pa - $133,183 pa (plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading) Your role Do you enjoy collaborating with government and non-government partners to achieve positive outcomes for people experiencing homelessness?
The Senior Project Officer - Homelessness is responsible for leading engagement with specialist homelessness services (SHS), Health, local Councils, Police and other agencies to deliver innovative solutions for people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.
You will do this by supporting interagency relationships, including convening and engaging in homelessness meetings and forums and supporting the coordination and implementation of projects focused on reducing homelessness that reflects the rare, brief and non-recurring approach in line with the NSW Homelessness Strategy.
You will also support the recommissioning and contract management of specialist homelessness services in the District, including undertaking policy and data analysis, market analysis, and providing sound advice.

Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop and lead projects and deliver resultsProvide well-researched, balanced, and expert advice, including discussion papers and briefing notes in a timely mannerWhat we're looking for You will have:
Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to provide well-researched, balanced, and expert advice supported by data and analysis.Sound capability in developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to lead projects quickly under pressure, often according to complex rules and procedures.The ability to manage competing priorities and operate within a dynamic environment.Minimum Requirements Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.Demonstrated experience working in the area of, or with, people experiencing homelessness.The Sydney, South Eastern Sydney and Northern Sydney District values diversity and recognises the important contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and the importance of culture in supporting people experiencing homelessness.
