Senior Project Officer, Operational Support, Consumer Protection Compliance and Investigations Temporary role up to 10 months Clerk Grade 9/10 Salary package up to $120,859 - $133,183 + Super Location: Metro or Regional.

About the Role
Join the dynamic, busy and outcomes-focused team in the Consumer Protection, Compliance and Investigations Operations Support.
The Senior Project Officer role has a strong focus on strategic projects, supporting the business to identify, develop and document business processes, systems and other functional requirements to support efficient delivery of operations and performance in line with organisational strategies and operational plans.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about providing a great customer experience and who can apply their knowledge and enthusiasm in a diverse regulatory environment whilst always putting our customers' interests at heart of all decisions.
Key Responsibilities Lead projects, including resource management, creation of documentation and visuals.
Source and collate information for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to contribute to the achievement of project outcomes and identification of emerging issues.
Lead and manage change management activities across the directorate in support of strategic priorities.
Coordinate and lead workshops to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.
Prepare project proposals, briefs and visuals for the Director to support informed decision-making and planning.
Often within tight timeframes and addressing sometimes sensitive and complex issues.
Support staff engagement through stream-wide communications and forums including content creation, feedback synthesis and updates using multiple technology platforms.
Lead and support business improvement and staff engagement activities across the business.
To be successful in this role, you will: Have extensive experience working in an operational regulatory environment.
Extensive strong project and change management understanding.
Have exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills with a proven ability to work across multiple tasks with a desire to build strong partnerships.
Have experience in operating effectively in a complex, sensitive, and changing environment.
Understand and use a range of technologies including data and reporting platforms.
Support and implement effective stakeholder engagement and communications strategies.
Support the provision of strategic advice, research, analysis and information to the Director.
Key challenges Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines and given their varying expectations, viewpoints, interests, and sensitivity of projects.
Balancing competing demands to ensure project objectives are achieved to the required standards.
