A new and exciting opportunity opportunity to work within Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works within Jimaylya Topsy Harry Centre. The Senior Project Officer position is an identified position and a new role to the service. You will be contributing to the development, testing and assessing of targeted programs both internal and external to JTHC. You will support residents to access services that contribute to improved health, wellbeing with a focus on cultural connection. If you have a creative and innovative flare and a passion for First Nations people, then this may be the job for you.
The role:
* Contribute to the development, implementation and assessment of person centre housing services and innovation initiatives to assist customers to engage in internal and external programs.
* Apply a project management framework to successfully deliver projects to meet timeframes, commitments and quality outcomes.
* Monitor, evaluate and report against performance outcomes for projects to ensure compliance with necessary Departmental requirements.
* Contribute to strong collaborative engagement with internal, external stakeholder and customers.
* Undertake accurate research and detailed analysis.
* Providing timely preparation and presentation of high-quality documents and communication materials.
* Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and are part of day-to-day operations.
