The Senior Project Officer is required to ensure project management and contract administration functions and processes are completed within required timeframes and to a high standard. This role will also contribute to strategic business planning, implementation and delivery of new programs and projects, manage cross-functional delivery of programs and provide leadership and guidance on sensitive and complex policy and delivery issues.The Senior Project Officer will support the Manager, Commercial Transitions and will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of key commercial contracts within the Major Energy Projects branch.Specialist/Technical Expertise/QualificationsA tertiary qualification and/or experience in energy, finance, legal, public policy, engineering, technology development or project management with a commercial focus would be well regarded.Demonstrated experience or understanding of commercial contracts, and relevant energy policies and programs.This is a fixed term position available for a period of 24 Months.
