About the role
In this role, you will work on engineering investigations, design tasks, project management, and administration duties.
Work type: Temporary full time 2 years Classification: Band 7 ($100,064-$110,990 (plus super)
Key responsibilities include:
Produce civil engineering designs that comply with standards and good practice, are accurate and are innovative in concept yet cost efficient in their design production and construction.Project manage all facets of the scheme inclusive of internal stakeholder engagement for design and technical requirements.Investigation of project related infrastructure, drainage, environmental and traffic related issues to ensure the proposed works are delivering the best outcome for the community.Work closely with the SRC Project Manager, providing technical advice to support effective community engagement commitments throughout the scheme.About you
To be successful in this role, you will have project management or civil engineering qualifications or extensive experience in a related field.
Demonstrated experience in civil infrastructure design using current principles and standards.Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering complex projects.Demonstrated experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of projects.Drafting skills including use of engineering software Autocad & Civil Site Design.Demonstrated experience in Engineering investigation work.Possess a high skill level in the use of the Microsoft Suite of software specifically Word and Excel.Ability to work independently as well as assist others in time management on a regular basis to meet agreed deadlines.Ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports and correspondence.Experience in a Local Government or design related office.Ability to problem solve and remain agile when encountering project related obstacles.If this sounds like the role for you, then click apply now!
