We have an exciting temporary opportunity available for a Senior Project Officer to join a dynamic team dedicated to reshaping Queensland's transport sector.
Join us as a Senior Project Officer at Translink's Personalised Transport Policy unit and be at the forefront of enhancing Queensland's transport services.
Your role will drive improvements and policy changes that make a real difference in our community's transportation options. The purpose of the Senior Project Officer is to work in a dynamic team to support the planning, implementation and communication of the policy reforms and improvement projects in the Personalised Transport Policy area. You will be focused on managing projects and coordinating subject matter expertise to deliver effective communications, collection and analysis of industry data, and system improvements related to personalised transport (taxi, limousine and booked hire services) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead in developing industry communications, including by coordinating stakeholder engagement forums and developing monthly newsletters and regular social media posts on issues affecting the industry
Use project management knowledge and experience to provide strategic, technical and contractual support to the team and senior management.
Assist in the research, analysis and evaluation of business and system requirements, and liaise with internal stakeholders, including technical experts to ensure recommended solutions satisfy those requirements.
Ensure a consistent approach is applied to the monitoring of the personalised transport framework by managing the contract for annual customer and industry surveys and coordinating the delivery of data improvement projects.
Enhance the availability and usability of information about the personalised transport framework through the use of innovative delivery channels.
To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
High-level skills and experience in project coordination and delivery of business system improvement, including by actively participating in the design of new solutions and new ways of working.
Skills to manage roll-out of system enhancements, analyse data and provide support and training to a variety of stakeholders.
Strong communication skills to share relevant information, build relationships and work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to enable the delivery of customer-focused outcomes.
Ability to self-manage your individual work program and drive completion of projects and tasks by specified deadlines, with some guidance from team leaders.
