We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity in Herston. Provide high-quality advice, assistance, and management in communicating, promoting, and marketing Patient Safety and Quality (PSQ) tools and education resources, including digital tools, to meet business objectives and enhance health service delivery within agreed performance criteria.
The role is responsible for the strategic development, management, and promotion of Patient Safety and Quality (PSQ) web platforms and digital tools to enhance user engagement and health service delivery. This includes providing expert advice on design and content for PSQ teams, as well as monitoring and reporting on platform usage trends. The role will also oversee the creation and distribution of PSQ newsletters, updates, and promotional materials using contemporary marketing techniques and software programs, while working closely with strategic communication experts. Additionally, the position involves the development and maintenance of PSQ online education resources within the Department of Health's learning management system, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and high-quality information presentation.
In alignment with Queensland Health's core values, the role includes managing project activities and progress to meet corporate goals, utilising appropriate project management methodologies, and ensuring risks and issues are identified and mitigated. The position requires strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, timely preparation of reports and briefing documents, and adherence to workplace health and safety policies. Continual professional development is encouraged to maintain technical expertise relevant to PSQ initiatives, with a commitment to service quality and compliance with ethical and equal employment practices.
The successful person To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication and marketing abilities, particularly in website design and publishing. You should also have proven skills in consultation, facilitation, and both written and verbal communication, with experience engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you must be capable of preparing high-quality reports, correspondence, documentation, and project communications.
Furthermore, you should have a demonstrated ability to contribute to project planning, deliver results, and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines and commitments. Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.
