Reporting to the Senior Director, Program, Program Branch your role will be responsible for undertaking project management activities by developing formal project plans, budgets, supporting documentation and records and registers; monitor and report on project progress and implement best practice guidelines to ensure consistent and quality outcomes are achieved on assigned projects.The successful personYou will have demonstrated:High-level ability to use high level communication, interpersonal, consultation, partnership, and negotiation skills to create a strong client focus, influence the decisions, action or perceptions of stakeholders and achieve outcomes.Knowledge of and ability to apply policy, legislation, standards, guidelines and frameworks relevant to infrastructure planning, policy and governance; and the ability to rapidly acquire specific technical knowledge and skills relevant to health infrastructure.Strong written communication skills including the timely preparation and review of department correspondence including briefing notes, memorandums, letters, documentation, as well as accurate reporting, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail within given timeframes.Demonstrated ability to achieve quality outcomes autonomously and in a team environment, prioritising workload demands to meet competing deadlines.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
