* Utilise your Education and Training expertise to provide support and advice to Liquor Control Victoria * A Fixed-Term (until 30/06/2025), Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service * VPS Grade 5: $106,534 - $128,897 plus superannuation.
About the Business Unit: Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) was established on 1 July 2022 and comprises the independent Victorian Liquor Commission and staff from the Department of Justice and Community Safety.
LCV is responsible for issuing liquor licences and overseeing industry compliance and enforcement to ensure that Victorians and visitors to the state enjoy safe and responsible liquor licensed environments.
About the Role: The Senior Project Officer RSA (Gendered violence) at LCV is responsible for managing the project, which involves the development of a number of tools to assist licensed premises to address and respond to gendered violence, including the design and development of mandatory training for the licensee and their staff.
The training will assist in identifying and responding to sexual assault and harassment in licensed venues.
This program of work is part of a package of reforms on Victoria's family violence laws, announced in May of this year.
The reforms focus on addressing and preventing family violence, including through the delivery of a stronger response that holds offenders to account, as well as new supports for victim-survivors of family violence - paving the way to long-term cultural change.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of gender-based violence.
You have either worked on the prevention of gendered violence or have worked on projects that have contributed to its prevention.
Some of your duties will include: * Managing the scoping phase, which includes the development of options for the delivery of a training program and associated other documents and collateral on gender-based violence in liquor-licensed venues * Developing key documents outlining how the project will be executed from initiation to closure * Providing advice based on sound research and develop recommendations as required during the project cycle.

About You: You are someone who: * Understands issues related to gender-based violence including prevention approaches * Has knowledge of resources and services developed to prevent gender-based violence * Has exceptional stakeholder skills * Has managed projects from initiation to closure, including the development of project plans and associated documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements: * Project management certification or vocational qualification in project management is desirable.
