Seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer, Cybersecurity Program.Ongoing, Full-Time opportunity available for immediate filling.The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Senior Project Officer, Cybersecurity Program to fill a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security.
About the Business Unit Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the departments data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.
About the Role The role of a Senior Project Officer, Cybersecurity Program:
Provide full lifecycle project management support for the delivery of cybersecurity projects from initiation through to implementation.Provide incident management services as part of the DJCS Cyber Incident Management Team.Collaborate with the Privacy and Information Management teams to deliver a safe and secure information environment in DJCS.About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
Technical expertise Knowledge of the principles and processes of project management, project lifecycle stages, and project management software.Working knowledge of cybersecurity defences and techniques.Knowledge of state, national, and international cybersecurity and information security frameworks.Experience in cyber incident management.Qualifications Qualifications in a technology discipline such as computer science, information technology management, systems engineering, or similar is highly desirable.At least 5 years of project support experience in information technology or similar fields is desirable.Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in cybersecurity is desirable.Experience working in cybersecurity projects is highly desirable.How to Apply Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
