Government - State (Government & Defence)Location - Parramatta with flexible working arrangements availableEmployment type - Temporary position up to December 2025 (35 hours)Salary - Clerk Grade 9 / 10, Base Salary ($120,859 - $133,183), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loadingYour roleAs a Senior Project Officer at the Children's Court, you will manage and coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of critical court projects.

It is a great opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and high-stakes legal environment while supporting organisational objectives.What you'll doLead the development and documentation of new court procedures, ensuring alignment with legislative reforms.Manage the preparation of key project documents, such as project plans, guidelines, and training materials, while providing high-level advice to senior court officials.Coordinate stakeholder consultations and meetings, representing the Children's Court in high-level committees.Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor project progress.Ensure projects meet statutory deadlines and align with organisational objectives.Provide advice and updates to senior officials regarding project status and implementation.Work as part of a collaborative team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.What we're looking forAbility to quickly develop a thorough understanding of key legislation, including the Children's Court Act 1987 and related acts.Experience in managing and coordinating projects within a legal policy context.Ability to engage with and represent the Children's Court in meetings.Strong skills in providing advice and developing key performance indicators (KPIs).Appointments are subject to reference checks.
