ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a capable Senior Project Manager to join the team and deliver the Light Horse Park project.
Light Horse Park is a complex and exciting project which is currently under way.
This riverside park is on reclaimed land and requires remediation strategies to deliver an upgraded parkland, car park and new community hub building.
The team is already in place and awaits the appointment of this role to take the project through to completion.
The community hub is at concept design stage and procurement is under way for the appointment of a civil contractor to commence works to the carpark component of the works.
This role will be supported by a Project Controls Team and two Assistant Project Managers (built form and civil).
An important aspect of the role is mentoring a young team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrable experience delivering projects working within an LGA, other government and/or a complex delivery environment governed by rigorous compliance, environmental, safety and reporting requirements. High level of capability for delivering projects where key internal and external stakeholders will maintain an interest in the performance of the project against a strict program and cadence of delivery. Demonstrable experience for subcontractor and supplier performance management. Strong ability to deliver a complex project using a predetermined Framework and Methodology. Evidence that you have delivered complex projects and work programs. Evidence of project budget and control. Evidence of strong community and stakeholder engagement. A very competitive salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.
The projects are funded by the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants (WSIG) Program.
