My client is a leading QLD-owned diversified Tier-2 commercial construction and development group that specialise in the delivery of construction and development projects valued up to 150mil.
Including their own self-delivered developments and external construct-only projects, this group's portfolio spans across the commercial mixed-use, multi-res/student accommodation, large-format retail, industrial/logistics, defence/aviation, civic/government, tertiary education, healthcare/hospital, and retirement/aged-care sectors.
This group leverages strong repeat relationships with a variety of institutional private sector and public sector clients, resulting in a consolidated pipeline of negotiated work - ESR, Startrack, Australia Post, Goodman, Brisbane Airport Corp, Dexus, Logos, Woolworths, BP, Shell, and Stockwell just to name a few.
The Role:
As Senior Project Manager, you will have end-to-end involvement in the management of complex redevelopment and new build construction projects, being engaged throughout the associated preconstruction, ECI, D&C and delivery processes.
As well as managing the construction delivery of projects, you will work alongside the group's QLD Preconstruction Manager and Project Director to negotiate and secure projects with key clients.
Operating in a client-facing capacity, you will be responsible for the review and negotiation of contracts to mitigate associated commercial risk, while managing the project team to ensure delivery deadlines are achieved in line with contractual and budgetary requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements: Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of complex commercial mixed-use and/or industrial construction projects.Fundamental understanding of complex technical construction methodology (civil, piling, structure etc) and commercial contract management/associated commercial risk mitigation strategies.Experience leading the associated ECI, D&C and Negotiated Work processes to successfully secure and deliver projects.If it sounds like you are well suited for this role, please click "apply now".
