The Purpose: As a Senior Project Manager in our Delivery & PMO team, you will report to the Head of Business Implementation and be responsible for managing business & technical project implementations for AP+ business stakeholders in addition to taking the lead on key strategic projects as assigned. You will plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, to budget, and within scope in accordance with AP+ business priorities. Throughout the lifecycle of each project, you will track project status and at times, manage small project teams to mitigate issues and risks.
You will be responsible for: Manage contracts such as statement of work and high-level estimates. Work closely with product and business implementation teams. Ensure internal stakeholders deliver to the agreed project schedule Ensure delivery of event to the agreed go live date. Assists in alignment of resources. Manage budgets that relate to your projects. Manage vendors for delivery and contracts. Ensure all deliveries are of the highest quality and bug free in addition to being on time and within budget. Review and follow up on any At Risk and Overdue items in the Registers or Detailed Project Plan. Collate and distribute of reporting as agreed with the Project Leader Ensure all project governance activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner. In order for you to be successful in the role, you'll have: Expertise in project management, and a successful track record overseeing enterprise-wide projects, within the payments industry. Experience in working at or with acquirers, issuers, payment gateways, or retailer payment systems. Experience in leading small teams. Proven experience in building and managing customer/client relationships. Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including vendors. Proven experience working with MS Project, JIRA and similar tools. Use of Waterfall and agile methodologies. Experience with contracts and statement of work (SOW) including negotiation of SOW.
