Multiple positions - Baseline security clearanceCivic, ACT - Hybrid work arrangementAgile Project DeliveryDeliver inflight and upcoming projects- applications, infrastructure platforms (cloud hosting, migration, cyber security, data & analytics), software developmentOur client, a large Federal Government department based in Civic, ACT, requires multiple experienced Project Managers for long 12 + 12 + 12 month contracts.
Duties Manage the delivery of departmental project(s) following the department's project management methodologies (such as Prince2, Agile, SAFe, hybrid).Provide guidance and leadership to a multi-disciplinary project team, 3rd party vendors, and/or other departmental teams to deliver projects.Undertake project governance, including, but not limited to: project initiation and closure, scope, schedule and delivery timeframe management, reporting and presenting to Senior Executives, Program/Project Boards, and other governance bodies, budget and financial management and reporting, and
active management of risks and issues.Provide delivery capability across the broader programs of work as directed by the department and/or the Project Management Office.Selection Criteria 7+ years' experience in the successful management and delivery of ICT-related projects and/or large corporate ICT transformation programs.Ability to adapt to and work across various delivery methodologies (such as waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).Proven capability in managing all aspects of a project to ensure successful outcomes, including;project initiation and closure,scope and schedule,budget and financial management,reporting and presenting to Senior Executives, Project Boards, and other governance bodies,risks and issues, andescalation.Agile project delivery and related tools are highly desirable: - Scrum Master experience and/or qualifications - SAFe Agile - Microsoft Azure DevOps / JIRA.Project management qualifications and certification are highly desirable.To apply for these long Project Manager contracts, please click the Apply Now button, to forward your CV to Andy at the Recruitment Hive.
