ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in executing complex project goals through agile and strategic leadership.
Leveraging the firm's national platform, the successful candidate will focus on delivering projects that shape the future of accommodation.
With extensive knowledge of construction projects from inception to completion, they will adopt a holistic approach to client needs, lead critical stakeholder meetings, provide on-site project leadership, and apply financial acumen to achieve client objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and execute major accommodation projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Oversee the planning, design, and construction phases with a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Facilitate Architect & Engineer site visits, and coordinate with utility vendors for project needs.
Manage key project milestones including bid walks, construction kickoff, and on-site inspections.
Review construction drawings and ensure alignment with project specifications.
Contribute to the establishment and refinement of work quality, cultural initiatives, and best practices.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in project management Expertise leading significant design phases and SSDA's in the accommodation sector is essential Proven experience in managing projects valued up to $250 million across aged care, residential apartments, build-to-rent, student accommodation, and hotels.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
