Join a National Insurance Builder which is dedicated to delivering complex major loss insurance projects in the Sunshine Coast.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee select projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate and collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution. Develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs to ensure an acceptable profitable margin. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences. Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle. Provide leadership and guidance to the project manager team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Key Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager. Construction Management Degree/Qualification in Building & Construction. A valid full driver's licence. Insurance experience highly desirable. Strong knowledge and expertise in construction methodologies and project management principles. Proven track record of successfully delivering major projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. Knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and safety standards. Ability to work individually and as part of a team, sharing knowledge and experience in order to gain clear results. Proficient in MS Project/Excel + other Construction Scheduling Software Platforms. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Knowledge and understanding of construction related OH&S legislation. What's on offer:
