Effectively and efficiently leading capital projects.
Employing proven project management skills to plan, monitor and document tasks throughout a project.
Able to take responsibility for key functional aspects within the project, including: scope, risk, cost, schedule and quality.
Putting safety at the heart of project delivery.
Safety comes first, always.
Day-to-day management of projects through the complete life cycle, including successfully implementing from initiation through deployment and handover into operations.
Working within multi-disciplinary teams of professionals to deliver targeted project outcomes, while fostering a collaborative and communicative project culture.
Managing different forms of contract, ensuring compliance with contract terms, processing of payments and managing change.
Employ a sound understanding of procurement in projects, tendering preparation and management, bid assessment and contract award for contractors and/or professional services.
Preparing reports and communicating project progress to a range of stakeholders, including schedule/milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, and promoting appropriate actions to improve project outcomes.
Qualifications Minimum of 8+ years working in a Project Management role Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience Recognised Project Management Qualification is essential (e.g.
AAPM, APM, PMI, PRINCE2, MSP) or equivalent Experience working in the infrastructure and/or construction sector Experience in Aviation is highly desirable Proven experience in on-site contractor management Experience operating at various stages in the project lifecycle Sound understanding of engineering and design in delivery, as well as a solid understanding of safety practices in project delivery Contract administration and management Self-motivated team player with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
