Senior Project Manager About Inland Rail
The Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track.
The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges.

About the opportunity
The Illabo to Stockinbingal (I2S) section of Inland Rail involves the construction of 39km of new rail corridor and 3km of upgraded track just east of Illabo and at Stockinbingal, NSW.
This will provide a direct route from Illabo to Stockinbingal bypassing Cootamundra and the steep and winding section of track known as the Bethungra Spiral.
As the Senior Project Manager on the I2S project, you will be responsible for leading and managing a multidisciplinary team delivering the civil works including bulk earthworks, rail formation, structures (11 bridges, 10 stock underpasses), roadworks, and extensive drainage works.
Reporting to the Project Director and working closely with the Rail Delivery Senior PM, you will lead the team from procurement through to the execution of construction activities and be directly responsible for schedule, budget, quality, and HSE risks.
Your key responsibilities will include: Manage project objectives, detailed scope, costs, scheduling, quality, safety, and environmental impact.Manage physical and financial progress issues related to the project ensuring timely and accurate information and reporting.Liaise with stakeholders on costing, scoping, and implementation of the "Inland Rail Program".Lead a team of staff, consultants, and contractors to successfully achieve the coordination of multiple work teams to obtain objectives.Monitor and evaluate the performance of the project by conducting regular reviews of project milestones against actual indicators.Manage the administration of contracts and financial forecasting ensuring timely and accurate reporting as well as ensuring cash flows and forecast costs are accurately reflected.About you

As the successful candidate, you will possess demonstrated experience in a similar role ideally within the rail industry as well as:
