We are imaginative, respectful, compassionate and bold.Role PurposeThe Senior Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects achieve desired benefits, on budget and time and will be responsible for implementing the systems, associated integrations, data, business reporting, and process changes.Ideally, you'll have extensive Agile project delivery experience implementing software solutions to solve complex business challenges.
You'll have strong stakeholder management skills, an ability to think on your feet, lead teams, and drive towards results.Key ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with the Transformation Delivery Lead, to implement the two systems and support in managing the team.Provide technology deployment and delivery leadership for the projects or portfolio of projects assigned.Providing analysis of relevant research and operational information and assisting managers to evaluate and integrate the information they receive.Providing a collection of relevant data to assist with budgeting, the operation of the team and production of regular reports.Share best practices/learning across the Project delivery portfolio to continually enhance the project delivery framework in Uniting.Focus on leading and managing the implementation of projects by working with the product owner and SMEs to design data, system, and functional changes.Participate in your team's operating rhythm and provide progress updates through agreed forums and channels.Engage effectively with the Change Lead and Program Manager for relevant change management activities.Qualifications and ExperienceTypically, this role will require 10 or more years' experience in your field of expertise.Extensive experience as a squad Scrum Master / PMDelivered at least one finance solution implementation OR digital solution or customer engagement solution implementationMinimum 5 years of Project or Agile experience relating to IT and/or business projectsDetailed understanding of SAFE Agile methodologiesExperience in collaborating with Transformation Lead and industry/consulting leadsExperience of working with multiple system implementation partners and managing deliverables and timelines for individual streams and comprehensively for the programFacilitate the backlog grooming, Stand-Ups planning session, and guide the team through Agile journey in Uniting.Successfully managed and implemented complex projects up to $5-8mAbility to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, multitask and keep track of multiple projects or Agile trainsForward looking with a holistic approach, organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tacticsProblem solving and root cause identification skills, and work effectively at all levels in an organisationBroad experience in integrating user and technical input and knowledge to achieve business outcomesEven betterExperience with large scale enterprise or transformational effortsPMP, Agile CertificationFoster delivery discipline and transparency by leveraging Project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.Experience in implementing process change and IT systems across a broad geographical area.What We Offer YouA rewarding career with a leading human services organisation.Up to $18,550 NFP salary packaging available.Access to our U rewards program with exclusive discounts.Flexible work hours for work-life balance.Access to Fitness Passport – Live your best life.A supportive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth.Purchase of additional leave.How to apply: Send your CV and a brief cover letter highlighting why this role appeals to you - Applications reviewed upon receipt.
