Short Description: SDM role for Australian client in Sydney, to manage multiple Projects in one LOB.
Roles and Responsibilities: Using an understanding of business requirements and the applications roadmap, clarify with and influence the business in defining technical requirements to ensure system changes are aligned to longer term investment plans and meet business requirements.Apply technical proficiency across different stages of Software Development life cycle, administration, support and release management functions. Deliver high quality code deliverables for a module.Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards.Bottom-line responsibility of Infosys delivery for the LoB across sub-domains.Plan and track implementation of best practices on productivity, maturity and quality improvements, ensuring strategic initiatives at the subdomain level.Drive/participate/coordinate key meetings with stakeholders.Escalation point of contact for the Lob delivery.Lob level risk and issues management and liaise with ASM/SOM.Ensure Westpac as well as Infosys health check requirements are met.Resource and demand management for the Lob.Talent management and Contract management for the Lob.Minimum Qualifications: Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.At least 7 years of Information Technology experience and release manager experience.Experience on Java, Linux administration and Unix Shell Scripting.Experience in handling L2/L3 support for applications with incident, problem & change management processes.Coordinate with IT groups, external vendors and ensure effective application services to ensure reliability of all applications.Experience on IT Tools like Service-Now, Service Manager.Expertise in working service-based model by using the ITIL processes like Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management.Preferred: Understand of technology trends.Good grasp of industry best practices in application performance monitoring and code profiling.Additional Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.Perform package deployments, maintain the repositories of various non-production environment.High level of attention to detail and analytical capabilities, with ability to solve problems using critical thinking and logical agility.Infosys is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of gender or other attribute covered by equal opportunity legislation.
