The Role:As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead and oversee the delivery of data transformation projects within a major Customer Mastering Initiative. This is a key role in driving the execution of complex data systems migrations and integrations, ensuring projects are aligned with strategic business goals and delivered with excellence.Responsibilities:
Manage all stages of data transformation projects, ensuring they align with delivery standards and meet business objectives.
Work with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and key deliverables.
Oversee the seamless transition from legacy systems to new data models, ensuring smooth integration and transformation.
Lead internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Identify potential risks and issues early, implementing solutions to maintain project momentum and success.
Partner with both business and technical teams to ensure project alignment with organizational needs and goals.
Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently.
Work with Change Management teams to facilitate the adoption of new data systems and processes across the organization.
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership.
Ensure all projects comply with internal data governance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Skills & Experience Needed:
Over 8 years of experience in project management, including at least 3 years leading large-scale data transformation or IT projects.
In-depth expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies, with PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum certifications preferred.
Strong understanding of data migration, integration processes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data governance best practices.
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with a track record of successfully managing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in driving change management initiatives and successfully delivering data transformation projects.
