You will be responsible for the scoping, coordination, planning, delivery, and administration of a range of capital works projects within the Dexus Office portfolio. Projects will be within the built environment and will range from commercial fit-outs, make-goods, technical building services upgrades, and façade works among others. The projects will also be high volume and will vary in value.You will make an impact by:Scoping, coordination, planning, delivery, and administration of a range of capital works projects within the Dexus Office PortfolioProject development and setup including the establishment of specific project definitions, packaging of works, scope development, approval and procurement of professional services, tendering, and setup of Project Control.Manage and maintain the Dexus capital works system and complete system updates as required with appropriate commentary.Mentor site teams with regard to project delivery including ad hoc technical and property advice.Support and advocate consistency of PM process, delivery structures, and terminology.Utilise appropriate contract documentation and project delivery structures to ensure WHS Obligations of Dexus are embedded in each project delivery structure.Integration of energy/sustainability requirements/strategies or other corporate objectives into each project scope as applicable and ensure that no project compromises the recent NABERS energy improvement works or the building asset plans or strategies.Ensure consistency, frequency, and quality of tenant communications for all projects.Ensure all required approval submissions and works contracts are in place before the works program commences. Coordinate and drive contractual issues between parties as appropriate.About YouYou are an agile and adaptable Senior Project Manager, with significant depth and breadth of experience in leading office capex projects. You thrive in high volume, with the ability to seamlessly oscillate between low and high value projects. You understand the importance of working with and through external contractors to ensure delivery. You will bring:Minimum of 10 years' experience within project management, building construction management, or building engineering.Applicable tertiary qualification in Design/Architecture/Project Management/Construction.Exposure to complex capital works/project management activities within a live office environment.Superior understanding of statutory legislation imposing or affecting property operations and building services, including Workplace Health & Safety Act, Essential Services Regulations, Building Code of Australia requirements, and relevant Australian Standards.Experience working within heritage buildings would be looked upon favourably.A confident communication style with strong verbal and written communication skills.Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages – particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CAD, and MS Project.Excellent organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.Why choose Dexus?The Dexus culture and spirit is what differentiates us.
