Reporting to the Operations Director, this is a critical role responsible for the way capital is raised and managed long-term, as well as executing these plans.
The role Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for:
Managing major multi-million dollar, multi-discipline capital projects from a timeline, budget, and specification perspective. Developing Project Management methodologies and reporting to the Executive Management group on major projects, providing intelligent insight and advice on the capital strategy. Working with a range of internal stakeholders to develop the capital engineering program. Developing the Capital strategy and long-term asset risks and requirements for the business. Managing, coaching, and developing a team of Project Engineers. Overseeing all capital spend and managing delivery milestones, with regular reporting back to the executive group. Driving long-term sustainable efficiencies and managing a variety of external consultancies and contractors while taking the lead on major capital projects. Background required In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
A degree qualification in Engineering. Proven experience delivering major multi-discipline projects within the FMCG industry. Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders. An ability to effectively communicate at different levels and provide intelligent commercial insights around capital. The ability to deliver projects across Australia with the flexibility to be at various manufacturing plants when required. What's on offer?
