We are seeking two experienced and dedicated Senior Project Managers to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will work with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in stakeholder management, and leadership to drive the successful execution of RAC's initiatives.
We are looking for candidates with a broad range of project experience to date, including procurement of services from external vendors, business change, technical implementations, compliance initiatives and transformative projects across an organisation.
The key projects these Senior Project Managers will work on are:
On-Call Project - This project will replace the current dispatch system for our Roadside Assistance at RACWA, working with other roadside clubs around Australia. This will require skilled stakeholder engagement and governance.Cyber Security Project - To deliver a range of initiatives for the Cyber team at RAC. Some understanding of Cyber may be beneficial, but not looking for a technical lead. More governance and stakeholder management to ensure the project is successfully delivered.Both of these roles are a 12 month maximum term, full time role with the view to extend.
What will you be doing? Leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that project goals, scope, budget, and timeline are met.Collaborating with key stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, budgets, schedules, and other key documentation as required.Monitoring and reporting project progress, risks, and issues to the executive team and project stakeholders.Conducting Steering Group meetings to ensure informed decisions are made regarding the progress, options, and direction of the project.Implementing and enforcing best practices in project management, a mix of waterfall and agile methodologies including project governance.Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to project team members.Driving continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.Ensuring quality and customer satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.Working with business analysts and change managers to scope, plan, and deliver the project deliverables whilst ensuring the change impact is managed well.What are we looking for in you? Significant experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.Senior stakeholder management skills, being able to bring parties together to collaborate, get consensus on key decisions and ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout the project lifecycle.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional project teams.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Exceptional organizational and time management skills.Experience with resource allocation, risk, and issue management.Demonstrated resilience in dealing with complex stakeholder relationships.Proven experience in communicating with and influencing stakeholders to Executive level.Demonstrated experience in quickly assessing project risks and issues and managing the mitigation and resolution of these in a pragmatic way.Strong experience in managing work across informal cross-functional teams.What's in it for you?
