Working from our Mulwala and Benalla office on Pangerang and Yorta Yorta land, your role purpose will be to lead and oversee capital projects on both sites, ensuring their successful delivery in an industrial and growing environment.
Your responsibilitiesLead and manage capital projects focused on manufacturing facility upgrades, process optimisation, and enhancing operational efficiency in industrial settings.Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards.Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Provide clear and effective communication across all levels of the organisation, managing project scope, schedules, and risks.Monitor project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.Ensure compliance with engineering plans, regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and environmental standards.Your ExperienceProven experience in managing complex capital projects, ideally in a chemical, manufacturing or industrial setting.Expertise in manufacturing facility upgrades, process optimization, and enhancing operational efficiency in industrial settings.Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a focus on safety and compliance.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred) and certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP or similar) is desirable.Must have a valid Driver's license.Availability to travel.Must be eligible to obtain Australian Defence Clearances.As part of our commitment, we offer:Competitive remuneration + Super + Bonus + Medical Insurance.ThalesFlex – Hybrid work environment.Recognised leader in reservist employee support.Fitness Passport Discount – Access to a network of Gyms across AUS.Employee discounts with a number of affiliates (Travel, Car hire, Tech, Medical Insurance).Modernised Paid Parental Leave.Novated Lease options.Family support through our partnership with Parents at Work.Access to a network of the best people (A Nobel Prize winner on our staff list!
